Book review - What does the Fox say?

What Does the Fox Say? What Does the Fox Say? was a YouTube sensation, and the biggest trending track in 2013. Created by Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis, the video has received more than 278 million hits on YouTube. The lyrics to the song have now been published as a children's book.

I am familiar with the song as we tried to interest the children in it when we first saw it, although fortunately they didn't really take to it as I'm not sure that I could bear listening to it on repeat! This book takes the lyrics to the song, which are mainly nonsense it has to be said, and teams them with some lovely illustrations by Svein Nyhus. It's quite difficult to read this book aloud as a picture book if you're not familiar with the song, but if you have little ones that are fans of the song then they will love it.

I received a copy of this book to review. Amazon links are affiliate.
