Lollibop 2014 - The Big Bash for Little People
Last year, my family had a great day out at Lollibop Festival. I wrote all about it here - Lollibop 2013 - and you can read about all the fun things that we got up to. It was a wonderful family day out, aimed at children up to the age of 12 although particularly suited to younger children and their parents.
This year, Lollibop takes place on the 15th, 16th and 17th August 2014. The festival has also moved to a new venue, Hatfield House in Hertfordshire. Hatfield House is famous for its beautiful gardens, and I think it looks like a wonderful setting for the festival. It also has good motorway links and plenty of parking, as well as being just five minutes walk from Hatfield train station. This means it will be very easy to get to, always important when travelling with little ones.
There are lots of big names in children's entertainment planned, along with live theatre, creative workshops, sporting activities, nature talks and plenty of things that will be brand new to Lollibop. Early Bird tickets go on sale on March 28th 2014, priced at £17.50 per person, and you can find out more information on the Lollibop website. The full line-up will be released on April 28th 2014.
