The Paying it Forward Challenge

A little while ago I read a lovely post on Mental Mum's Little World about the Pay it Forward challenge. The idea is that you buy a small gift for five other people, and then they do the same for another five people, and so on. I signed up to take part, and Melissa sent me a lovely surprise in the post, a £10 Amazon voucher! It was such a treat, as I knew that it was earmarked especially for me and I wanted to save it for something special, not just putting it into the 'pot' where all our shopping comes from, so it took me a little while to decide what to buy!

I finally used the money to buy myself some crafty bits that I found in the sales after Christmas. Some gorgeous Decopatch papers and a little mouse to decorate with them, as well as some pretty fabric tapes. I've not decided which paper to use for the mouse yet, I think probably the one with the black background, although I may use a combination of the two! I'll be sure to share pictures when he's finished.

So now I would love to carry on the chain and send something special to five other people. If you'd like to take part, all you need to do is leave a comment on this blog post and some way that I can contact you for your address, like an e-mail address or Twitter handle. I'll try and choose something lovely to send you, although just to warn you it will probably be handmade and there may be Hama beads involved!

Then if you want to carry on the chain you can pass the kindness on to five other people. You don't need to have a blog, you could ask for volunteers on social media or in real life, or just choose five people you know that you think would appreciate a treat.

Please consider joining in, I really want to spread the joy!
