Crafting is my Therapy #4 and Giveaway

Welcome to Month 4 of the Crafting is my Therapy Linky, hosted by myself and Me, You and Magoo!

This month's linky comes with another chance to win a lovely crafty bundle! One lucky winner chosen at random will win a box of crafty goodies that includes Stabilo colouring pencils, Blu Tack Glu Dots, Blu Tack Foam Pads, Sellotape Clever Tape, three rolls of decorative fabric tape, two Sharpie pens, thin and thick, metallic marker pens, pack of ribbons and large decorated wooden buttons. In order to be entered into the giveaway with a chance of winning you must link up an eligible blog post below - please see full terms and conditions at the bottom of this post.

Last month we also held a giveaway - there were 8 posts (not including the hosts) added to our link-up in April. Using the random number generator, I can tell you that the winner is…Amy Loves to Sew! A bundle of crafty goodies will be heading her way shortly, and thank you to everyone that linked up.

This month my Sky Blanket continues to progress well, I can't believe I'm a third of the way through (and it really is going to be huge when it's finished!) I really like having something that I can work on each day and because the blanket isn't too wide I can easily do a row each day, although sometimes I save it to work on several days at once.

Sky Blanket in April

With my granny square blanket finished I've started on a new crochet project which is yet to feature on the blog. It's crochet bunting from Attic 24 and you can purchase the kits from Wool Warehouse - I chose the pink bunting pack but it's also available in blue. I can make up the triangles quite quickly so I'm trying to slow down a bit, I don't want to finish it too soon!

I've been a little distracted from crafting this month as I've been working on having a bit of a tidy up and sort out in the home. The result has been that I've rediscovered a lot of old sentimental things that I want to display somehow. I've been putting my favourite photographs and postcards on display, but I've ended up with a collection of old tickets and so on that I want to do something simple and crafty with, I'll keep thinking, and see what I end up with!

What have you been working on this month? We'd love to see!

The “Crafting is my Therapy” linky will open on the first Friday of each month and stay open for the whole month – giving you plenty of time to get involved.

You can link up with maximum of three posts per month, old or new.

Grab the linky badge or link back to our blogs on your post.

Please share the love and comment on other people’s posts.

If you could share your post and the linky (using the hashtag #craftingismytherapy) on any social media channels that would be great. This will help us to grow the community. We will retweet all your posts via Twitter if you mention us (@pouchvintage/@JenniferJain)

And finally, if you would like to follow me on TwitterPinterest and Facebook, you're more than welcome. Nicola's links are here too: Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook

  2. Oh what lovely contrasting projects to have on the go. I think it is really good to have a smaller, more contained project alongside a blanket...I am really looking forward to seeing your bunting post - the triangles look beautiful. My daughter would love them, so you've inspired me! Jennifer, I'm so sorry being a techno-numpty I didn't realise that the link was on your blog too - I thought you alternated with Nicola...so I'll update my blog post to link here as well! Forgive me, I'm new to all this techie stuff! x #craftingismytherapy
