Crafting is my Therapy #5 and fab giveaway

Welcome back to month 5 of Crafting is my Therapy hosted by myself and Me, You and Magoo! I am really enjoying co-hosting the linky and I've discovered some fantastic new blogs, it's lovely to see what a variety of things people have been working on.

Last month we held a giveaway and I'm delighted to announce that the winner of a bundle of crafty goodies was Elizabeth from Simply Blossoms, congratulations and your prize will be on its way shortly!

This month we have another lovely giveaway for you - a set of two colouring books from Phoenix Yard Books. We have a copy of The One and Only Mandala Postcard Colouring Book and The One and Only Elephant Parade Postcard Colouring Book (affiliate links) from Phoenix Yard Books to give away to one lucky linker, and you can find full terms and conditions for the giveaway at the bottom of this post.

The Mini Mandala Colouring Book takes the intricate and beautiful designs from the mandala range and puts them together in an accessibly sized book. The Elephant Parade Postcard Colouring Book is filled with designs based on the unique designs from the Elephant Parade, a collection of painted elephant sculptures designed by artists and celebrities. Both books would be perfect for some summer colouring and relaxation!

This month, my Sky Blanket continues to grow. My Mum took this photo a couple of weeks ago when I was visiting her, and you can see how large it's getting! It's nice and warm to sit under now when I'm working on it, although the wrong time of year really - I'm looking forward to snuggling up under it while I work on it towards the end of the year! I've not done much in the way of different stitches this month but it's been nice to see a lot more blue showing up and interestingly the sky seems to have been more settled lately, I've been using the same colour for several days in a row.

I've also been having a go with a bead loom that my Mum bought me from Tiger. It's a lovely little loom, and although I've made a start with the beads included in the kit I can see it working really well with larger beads and yarn too, so I'll be trying out a few different things!

What have you been working on this month? We'd love to see!

The “Crafting is my Therapy” linky will open on the first Friday of each month and stay open for the whole month – giving you plenty of time to get involved.

You can link up with maximum of three posts per month, old or new.

Grab the linky badge or link back to our blogs on your post.

Please share the love and comment on other people’s posts.

    1. I'm planning a border for this one but it's going to be enormous, I think that it will take me as long as the blanket!
